ESOL Students at Flagship Campus learn to play golf.

Several Keiser University English as a Second Language (ESOL) students recently took a break from classroom activities to learn how to play golf along with their professor Maria Verona Garcia. Excitement was high as Keiser University College of Golf (COG) professors and PGA members John Callahan and Frank Longabucco coached the group at the university’s Outdoor Golf Training Area. Each student experienced success in holing short and medium length putts as they learned how to grip and aim the putter and how to execute a putting stroke to a target.

Golf training for the students will continue, as they learn how to chip and pitch the golf ball in future sessions.
