Keiser University’s College of Golf Donates Training Equipment
to The First Tee of the Palm Beaches

COG First Tee Equipment Donation - A - 10-19

Keiser University’s College of Golf recently upgraded its indoor training area with new FlightScope Launch Monitors, V-1 Computer Swing Analysis systems, and BodiTrak Center of Pressure Measurement Plates. As the equipment that was replaced was still operational, John McMurry, Flagship Campus Vice President, and Dr. Eric Wilson, College of Golf Executive Director of Golf Operations, called The First Tee of the Palm Beaches Development Director Jack Barrett to see if that organization could use the tools.

Barrett excitedly accepted the offer, so McMurry and Wilson delivered the equipment the next day. Carl Mistretta, The First Tee of the Palm Beaches Executive Director, was also appreciative of the equipment and thanked Keiser University leaders for their generosity.

Both McMurry and Wilson sit on the Board of Directors for The First Tee, and KUCOG students enjoy the opportunity to serve as volunteers while earning the Assistant Coach Certification as part of their coursework. Keiser University has been a proud supporter of The First Tee for the last decade and looks forward to a continued successful partnership.
