College of Golf Students Enjoy Student and Staff Competition

Keiser University College of Golf students recently participated in a friendly Student and Staff Competition held at Okeeheelee Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The format was a two-person scramble, and the winners were Florian Benner and Isac Wallin, with a score of 12 under par 60. Second place went to Jack Maxey and Toby Lock with a score of 61.

Before teeing off, the group attended a shot shaping clinic conducted by PGA Instructors Frank Longabucco, David Wixson, and Brad Turner. The clinic included individual attention, guided block practice drills, and experiential drills reacting to targets. The event was fun while being competitive and gave students a playing opportunity to improve their games. Students also played with PGA Instructors, learning golf course management and mental game skills.

The next Friday event will be December 3rd at Okeeheelee Golf Course. The format will be an individual Stableford competition, gross and net.
