Keiser University College of Golf Advisory Board Convenes

Keiser University College of Golf (COG) held its semi-annual Advisory Board Meeting on Friday, June 5th. The main topic of discussion was the pending move of the College of Golf campus to Northwood in West Palm Beach in time for the Fall Semester start on August 31st.

Mr. John McMurry, COG Vice President, outlined the steps taken to date, the plan for the next few months, and the exciting future of Keiser University’s first residential campus. Students and staff look forward to the move and the incorporation of the College of Golf with Northwood’s current student population.

Northwood offers 13 sports within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), including the 2015 National Championship Women’s Golf Team.

he COG Advisory Board consists of seasoned professionals in Instruction, Retail Management, Leadership/Management, and Education, and their expertise drives the curriculum established for the Associate of Science in Golf Management Program offered by The College of Golf.

  • Mr. Bud Taylor, PGA Master Professional and Director of Golf at Old Palm Golf Club
  • Mr. Rick Martino, PGA Master Professional and Director of Instruction at Trump International Golf Club
  • Mr. Michael Waninger, President/CEO of Hibiscus Children’s Center
  • Mr. Robert Raynes, PGA Member and Partner in The Gunster Law Firm
  • Mr. Mitchell Spearman, PGA Member and President of Mitchell Spearman, Inc. Golf Instruction
  • Mr. Danny Visconti, PGA Member and Director of Golf/Assistant General Manager at The Legacy Golf Club
  • Mr. Bud Beucher, Owner/Vice President of Mission Inn Resort; Mr. John Ennen, Graduate of The College of Golf and Golf Instructor for Don Law Golf Academy
