Joey D’s Golf Performance Center
Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management Bachelor of Science in Sport Management students visited Joey D’s Golf Performance Center last week as part of their Technology in Sports Coaching class.
Tommey Lyons, Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management graduate, coordinated the visit and led the students, along with the other staff members, through the many stations in this all-inclusive golf training facility.
The services offered at Joey D’s include: Individualized pro-style golf biomechanics training, physical assessments and development plans, golf –specific fitness equipment and training area, custom golf club fitting from all major brands, complete club building and repair service, multi-camera swing video capture technology, BodiTrak ground pressure mapping system, and program performance metrics documentation services.
As seen on The Golf Channel, Joey D’s features a complete golf-specific fitness training area, three indoor hitting bays, custom golf club fitting and building service, plus comprehensive biomechanics and swing analysis. Students had the opportunity to go through all the stations and spent over two hours touring the facility, experiencing how technology has driven performance in the golf industry.
