College of Golf Club Team Plays Friendly Match
With the Flagship Campus Golf Team

The Keiser University College of Golf Club Team recently played a friendly nine-hole match with the Flagship Campus Golf Team at PGA National’s Squire Golf Course. Ten golfers from each team participated. The Flagship Campus Golf Team edged the College of Golf Club Team by seven shots. Students enjoyed the competition and, more importantly, the comradery.

Christian Brown led the Flagship Campus Team with a two-under-par 34, while Marshall Lamp was low for the College of Golf Club Team with a one-under-par 35. “Giving the College of Golf students as many opportunities to play competitive golf helps them prepare for their PGA Playing Ability Test and National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) Regional tournaments,” said Frank Longabucco, PGA Instructor and Club Team Coach.
The Club Team finished second to the University of Central Florida in the NCCGA Regional #1 and continues to play qualifying rounds to determine the eight players who will participate in the second Regional October 21st and 22nd at TPC Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida. For details about the NCCGA, please visit www.nccga.org.
Upcoming events for the College of Golf Club Team include another friendly get-together with the Flagship Campus Golf Team, additional qualifying rounds, and the Student Match Play Championship.
