Keiser University College of Golf Match Play Championship Concludes

KUCOG match play championship concludes

Congratulations to George Pepper for winning the Keiser University College of Golf Match Play Championship by defeating Garry Williams 3 & 1 in finals contested at Okeeheelee Golf Course. The match was tied at the turn, then George birdied holes #10 and #11 to go 2 up. Garry closed the match to 1 after hole 15, but George birdied #16 to take control of the match.

Twenty students participated in this event. “Students have numerous competitive opportunities in our Friday Golf Events, Wednesday Short Game Leagues, Match Play Championship, and they can also compete on our NCCGA Club Team,” said Frank Longabucco, PGA Program Instructor.
