Keiser University’s Flagship Campus Supports Charity Golf Tournament
Golf Associate's Degree

Dr. J. B. Ward

When you earn a golf degree,  from Keiser University’s College of Golf you’re getting more than the typical golf college experience. Dr. J. B. Ward, the Keiser University Flagship Campus Department Chair for Hospitality Management, coordinated and directed volunteer activities for a recent Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Charity Golf Tournament which was held at the Jupiter Country Club. Dr. Ward recruited student volunteers from Keiser University’s College of Golf and its Women’s Basketball Team along with Forest Hill High School hospitality students to help with on-course competitions and post-tournament closing events. More than 120 competitors played in the event, which included a post-round lunch, silent auction, and awards ceremony.

The tournament was a tremendous success despite heavy rains which managed to soak most competitors as they finished their rounds. Kudos to Dr. Ward and the student volunteers for giving back to the community!
