Keiser University College of Golf Student Captures Fort Pierce City Golf Championship
Adam Medcalf, Keiser University College of Golf student from Australia, won the Fort Pierce City Golf Championship last weekend, firing rounds of 67 and 72 at Indian Hills Golf Course. Saturday’s round was very interesting, as Adam was even par after eleven holes; he then went on a birdie/eagle tear, scorching the next six holes in seven under par. He had a 25 foot putt on the 18th green to score a 28 on the back nine, but putted his way to a double bogey finish and a round of 67. He followed up Saturday’s exceptional round with a solid even-par 72 on Sunday to win by six strokes. Travis Glass, another Keiser University College of Golf student, shot rounds of 68 and 78 to finish third. Congratulations to Adam as the Champion and Travis for his third place finish!
