Dr. T.J. Tomasi is a Senior Professor and Director of Research at Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management, a Regionally Accredited University with a degree program in Golf Management. Dr. Tomasi holds a Ph.D. in Education, a Master’s Degree in Education, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology. It is estimated that he has given over 50,000 golf lessons. He teaches many different courses at The College of Golf, from Golf Swing Fundamentals, the Mental Approach to Golf, to Beginning and Advanced Golf Instruction – his specialty!
In addition to being a GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teacher, a distinction he has held for a number of years, GOLF Magazine named Dr. Tomasi Program Director of GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America. In this position, he coordinates all non-editorial endeavors of the Top 100 Teachers and establishes various committees to coordinate, launch and execute the many exciting new concepts and ideas. The potential of this group to positively shape the way the game is taught and played is without limits.
Dr. Tomasi is one of the most published golf professionals in the world, with articles that have appeared in all the major golf magazines, including Sports Illustrated, Golf Magazine, Golf Digest and Golf Tips. He is the author of a weekly syndicated golf page called Insider Golf that appears around the world, and he is the author of 14 books as well. Dr. Tomasi is also a co-author of the book The LAW’s Of The Golf Swing, voted Best Instructional Book by Golf Magazine in 1999.
He is also an authority on biomechanics and has been a presenter at educational seminars hosted by MIT in Boston, the PGA of America, and the LPGA. He was the guest instructor at the Merrill Lynch Skins Game in Palm Springs in 2005, which featured Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam, and he does numerous golf outings for major corporations such as Wachovia, Pioneer, and Deutsche Bank.
