College of Golf Supports Quantum House in Palm Beach County, FL
Quantum House, where hope has a home, is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving serious medical care in Palm Beach County, FL. Fueled by the vision, energy and resources of Quantum Foundation, The Junior League of the Palm Beaches and St. Mary’s Medical Center, Quantum House opened its doors in 2001 to serve more than 1300 family members each year.
Here at the College of Golf we’re active not only in the golf community but also throughout the local communities around Florida. This year we had the opportunity to work with Quantum House in their fundraising efforts at The Honda Classic to staff concessions stands. With the support of the College of Golf at Keiser University, Quantum House reports they were able to provide more than 400 volunteers to the tournament.
In a letter we received from Roberta Jurney, Executive Director at Quantum House, Roberta wanted to make sure to thank the following students for their help at the event.
- Jamie Cuzzocrel
- Spencer Hassberger
- Chris Dearth
- Ryan Lord
- Victor Palmberg
Roberta noted that each of these students were amongst the eager staff to help staff concession stands and they had great attitudes, willingness to help and a great work ethic. This goes to show what great students we have at the College of Golf.
Thank you to all students who helped volunteer at the Honda Classic!
