Keiser University NCCGA Regional Golf Tournament
The Keiser University NCCGA Club Golf Team won its second Regional Golf Tournament this past weekend (4/12 & 4/13) at Fairwinds Golf Course in Fort Pierce, FL. The Seahawks defeated ten other teams in the Regional Tournament. The University of Tampa finished second, followed by the University of Florida.
Kyle Nieter (70-71), T3, Brett Baker (72-71), T6, and Captain Jared Drake (73-73) T9 were the top three players this weekend. The second regional win stamps the Seahawk’s ticket to the National Tournament on April 25th-27th in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, at Mission Inn Resort and Club. Currently, the Keiser University Club Team is Ranked #3 in the Nation out of 160 teams, behind only the University of Mississippi and Texas A&M University. This is the highest ranking in the club’s 12-year history.
