Keiser University College of Golf Supports World Junior Golf Championship

Junior Golf Championship

Keiser University College of Golf provided sponsorship for the World Junior Golf Championship held at The World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida on December 20-22. Eighty-one juniors, aged 14-18, from 22 countries competed over three days of stroke play at the world-famous site. John McMurry, COG Vice President, Dr. Eric Wilson, PGA Master Professional and COG Executive Director of Golf Operations, and Liz Snyder, COG Community Relations Coordinator traveled to the World Golf Village to participate in an Education Seminar and attend dinners with the junior golfers, their families, and World Junior Golf Championship staff.

Liz Snyder presented during the Education Seminar, and Dr. Eric Wilson spoke at the dinner on Thursday evening. This was the first time in the history of the event that it was held at The World Golf Village and the first time Keiser University College of Golf participated as a sponsor. Going forward, plans are to keep the event at The World Golf Village, and Keiser University College of Golf intends to participate as a sponsor and provide student volunteers, schedules permitting.
