Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management Bachelor of Science Students Work on Motion Analysis Technology by TaylorMade (MAT-T) System

Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management Bachelor of Science students received a refresher orientation on the Motion Analysis Technology by TaylorMade (MAT-T) System as part of their Golfer Development class.

Brian Hughes, PGA Master Professional in Instruction, demonstrated the MAT-T System by having student Steven Wall suit up and hit shots while his classmates watched and were shown how the system depicted different data points of the golf swing. Mr. Hughes then compared Steven’s swing to top players on the PGA Tour using the virtual environment of the MAT-T system. With minor adjustments, Steven was able to refine his swing to more efficiently deliver the club within desired parameters in a very short time frame.

Experience with the MAT-T System is a unique opportunity for students at Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management to explore the advantages of using technology to learn and teach the golf swing.
