Impact Zone Golf Clinics in May

Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management Staff Offer Impact Zone Golf Clinics  For Students

Dr. Eric Wilson, Executive Director of Golf Operations for The College of Golf & Sport Management (COGSM), PGA Master Professional, and Impact Zone Golf Master Instructor, and Brian Hughes, Golf Program Director for COGSM, PGA Master Professional, and Impact Zone Golf Certified Instructor, conducted Impact Zone Golf Clinics in May for six COGSM students.

Students Gregor Rose, Chris Goingo, James Lowe, John Lipsey, Ray Boyle, and Kyle Howard completed the four hours of practical training and will next have to pass a 50-question test on Bobby Clampett’s book The Impact Zone to achieve Impact Zone Player Certification, a certification unique to Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management.

Additionally, these students will be able to pursue Impact Zone Golf Associate Instructor Certification by assisting Impact Zone Golf Instructors as they deliver the practical training in clinics going forward, and by passing another test.

The next Impact Zone Golf clinics will be held on Friday, May 29th, as more students have expressed an interest in earning the Impact Zone Player Certification. Also, Bobby Clampett, PGA Tour player, CBS Sports golf analyst, and author of the widely acclaimed book, The Impact Zone, visits COGSM twice a year to speak with students and provide personal demonstrations/instruction on his concept of the Five Dynamics of Impact Based Instruction.
