CHANCES TO PRACTICE AND PLAY

College of Golf at Keiser University students have access to the world class PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance, six days a week (closed for maintenance on Tuesday) from 9:00am until 7:30pm. This outstanding facility is a 35-acre practice facility located less than a mile from the campus. It offers a variety of training opportunities, including vast expanses of turf in a horseshoe shape to allow practice in any wind conditions; seven bunkers of different shapes containing different types of sand; three putting greens; a chipping green; and a pitching area. There isn’t a facet of your game that you can’t practice at the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance. For those who love to practice, this is paradise!

College of Golf students will also have access to numerous golf courses throughout the Port St. Lucie area. However, students will call the three golf courses at the PGA Golf Club their “home” courses, and this facility is also located only five minutes away from the campus. Students will play the challenging Dye, Ryder, and Wannamaker courses on a weekly basis, and these courses will test your skills! The PGA Golf Club hosts many local, regional, and national tournaments. Most recently, the PGA Golf Club hosted the PGA Assistant Professional Championship, the national championship for Assistant Golf Professionals throughout the country. On six separate occasions, the PGA Golf Club has been host to the Special Olympics National Invitational Golf Tournament. You won’t be disappointed when teeing it up at the PGA Golf Club.
