Happenings in June

Just a bit of what is happening down in Port St Lucie…

Student News:

On June 9th, two students at the College of Golf Keiser University scored eagles on the PGA Ryder Course. Mark Beaulieu holed a 106 yard wedge to a back pin location on the 8th hole for an eagle 2 and finished with a 3-under par 33 on the front nine. Guy Mancini holed a 115 yard gap wedge on the 408 yard par 4 18th hole for a deuce, turning in a 1-under par 35 for the back nine. Congratulations to both!!

College of Golf students are participating in an exercise/fitness program with Keiser University Sport Medicine and Fitness Training program students in the Sport Fitness Lab. This eight week series was developed to target golf fitness and improve students’ stamina on the golf course and flexibility in their swings.

*As one of only 17 PGA Master Professional Adjunct Faculty members for Instruction in the PGA of America, Dr. Eric Wilson will participate in a Master Professional Evaluation/ Checkpoint on Thursday, June 17th at the PGA Education Center.
