Keiser University College of Golf Professor Ms. Donna White continues to garner accolades and recognition for her outstanding accomplishments, as she recently accepted the Ladies Professional Golf Association Teaching and Club Professional (LPGA T&CP) Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.

The award was created by the LPGA T&CP in 2007 and is given to an LPGA Professional who emulates qualities valued by Lopez: Leadership, Passion, Giving, and Approachability.

Lopez is a 48-time winner and four-time Rolex Player of the Year, and she was inducted into the LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame in 1987.

She also captained the victorious 2005 United States Solheim Cup Team.

In an emotional speech, Ms. Lopez recounted how she and Ms. White traveled the LPGA Tour together and struck up a strong friendship that endures even today.

Ms. White’s acceptance speech was equally emotional, as she recounted how she and Ms. Lopez competed at the highest levels of the sport. Students and staff from Keiser University College of Golf were part of the large audience to witness this momentous event.

Congratulations, Ms. Donna White!
