College of Golf and Sport Management Student Achieves Impact Zone Golf Associate Instructor Certification

Keiser University College of Golf and Sport Management student Thomas Magnant achieved Impact Zone Golf Associate Instructor Certification this week, scoring 96% on his Certification Examination. Thomas is the second student to earn this certification, with graduate John Ennen being the first. Thomas completed the Impact Zone Golf Player Certification, then proceeded to study for the Associate Instructor Certification while assisting Impact Zone Golf Master Instructor, Dr. Eric Wilson, with four Impact Zone Golf Clinics at the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance. An accomplished player, Thomas’s USGA Handicap Index of 5.5 is 2.5 strokes lower than the mandatory USGA Handicap Index of 8.0 required for Associate Instructor Certification. Thomas has volunteered his time working with The First Tee of the Treasure Coast on weekends, where he assists with the instruction of Junior Golfers. Congratulations to Thomas for his outstanding achievement.
